FIRST Robotics Competition

About

Lakerbotics is a non-profit robotics team located in Windermere, Florida. We work out of Windermere Preparatory school but since we are a non-proft through 4-h we encourage homeschooled students to join the team. Lakerbotics team 1649 has competed at local regionals since our founding in 2004. We pride ourselves in building robots that are soley student built.

Our students can expect to learn engineering, computer-programming, and hands-on machinery skills, as well as the prolem solving skills, strategic thinking, time managament, teamwork and leadership skills essential to life. The goal is to create astounding individuals who contribute to society in a great way.
